How to get there - Car park is south of road west of town bridge (i.e. not on the bypass) (map)

Suggested Launch Site - Short carry across public park to riverside

General Description - About 8 miles including 4 locks to be portaged. Easy paddling downstream through generally flat rural area. Old gravel pits offer some birdwatching.

Attractive riverside pub at Brampton (6 miles)

Get out below Huntington Town Bridge on north bank, short carry across grass to road (B1514). Return to St Neots by bus (see link). Can also stop at Godmanchester (7 miles), landing stage by small free car park in village but less easy to find. For photos see links. (route)
