Description - About 4 miles return to East Farleigh, in a narrow valley (which is being squeezed more narrowly as the sides slip down towards the Medway!). No locks. No easy access to river at East Farleigh. (route)
About 7 miles return to Yalding as the valley broadens out. No locks. If river levels are high, it is possible to explore a mile or so up the Beult past Yalding village. Kingfishers seen on this stretch. (route)
